The club is a non-profit
organization, which celebrated its inaugural
year in 2008. Shows are held the third Saturday
of each month starting in June and ending in
October. These shows are held at the Warrenton
Fair Grounds. Please see our show bill for
class schedules. A costume class is added in
the October show. Our club is also PAC approved
for APHA members.
We have a huge outdoor arena with
plenty of parking for horse trailers and
additional parking for visitors and guests. The
concession stand is manned by the local Boy
Scouts. They provide BBQ hotdogs and hamburgers
and various other menu items along with drinks
and snacks. The restroom facilities have been
completely updated and are very clean.
The WSC mission statement is: A
saddle club for individuals and families that
offers halter and pleasure classes, English and
Western, (for both quarter-type horses and
ponies) for any age participant. The WSC
encourages good horsemanship and proper conduct
among horsemen and horsewomen, encourages proper
and humane handling of equines and encourages
good sportsmanship.
