This club
seeks to encourage enjoyment of well broke, working
horses of all breeds, in a variety of competitive
events. Classes are designed so that participants of
all ages can compete at an age/skill appropriate
level in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.
It is the purpose of the Sho-Me Horse Show
Association to develop more versatile horses and
better horsemen.
While not affiliated with any national sanctioning
organization, SMHSA will model its rules and
regulations along the lines of "Ranch Horse
Associations". Members will, however follow the
specific rules and regulations of this association.
Our 2016 shows are held at the Longhorn Arena (Formerly
Flying M) in Mount Vernon, MO.
