No Handler allowed Rider IS NOT Eligible For Any Other RIDING Class, Except Leadline And Pee Wee Speed Classes, Participation in Halter & Showmanship classes are allowed. English or Western Tack & attire are required
11 YOUTH WALK TROT ** Rider cannot show in any other Judged Western or English Pleasure class that requires a canter. (No Gaited Horses) English or Western tack & attire are required. Rider 13 thru 18.
12 OPEN ENGLISH PLEASURE – English attire & tack are required.
13 OPEN ENGLISH EQUITATION ** English tack & attire required. May be asked extended trot, hand gallop, etc.
14 ADULT WALK TROT ** Rider cannot show in any other Judged Western, Ranch, Non-Stock or English Pleasure class that requires a canter. (No Gaited Horses) English or Western tack & attire are required. Rider 19 & over.
15 LIGHT SHOD COUNTRY PLEASURE *** Walk & favorite gait, max. 3/8” X ¾” shoe, max. 8” shank on bit, English or Western tack & attire are required.
16 NON-STOCK HORSE PLEASURE - Horse cannot show in any other Western Pleasure Classes, except Open Western Pleasure. Rider cannot show in Walk Trot Classes. English or Western tack & attire are required.
17  OPEN GAITED BARRELS *** Open to all Gaited Equines/All Age Groups. Must walk and /or Favorite Gait. Disqualified for cantering. Rider/Horse combination not eligible for any other Barrel Class

25 JUNIOR HORSE WALK TROT – Horses 5 years old and younger ONLY. Horse may be shown with a Bit, Snaffle bit or Bosal. Horse cannot show in any other Judged Western Pleasure, Ranch, Non-Stock or English class that requires a canter. No gaited horses.
26 PEE WEE POLES – Rider 12 & under
27 YOUTH POLES – Rider 13 thru 18
28 SENIOR POLES – Rider 19 & over
29 PLANTATION CLASS *** Walk & Running walk, light or heavy shod. Max 8” shank on bit, English or Western tack & attire required, no pads (including wedge pads). No canter

31 OPEN GAITED PLEASURE *** Walk & Favorite Gait, light or heavy shod. Max 8” shank on bit, English or Western tack and attire are required, no pads (including wedge pads). No canter
32 ## PEE WEE FLAG – Rider 12 & under.

34 SENIOR FLAG – Rider 19 & over
35 OPEN RANCH HORSE RAIL WALK TROT Horses will be shown at a walk, trot, extended trot (at least one direction), reverse, stop and back. Western attire and tack required. Extended rules available at registration. Horse rider combination cannot cross enter in any judged class requiring a canter including Open Ranch Horse Rail Pleasure.
36 OPEN RANCH HORSE RAIL PLEASURE Horses will be shown at a walk, trot, extended trot (at least one direction), canter, (extended canter, at judge’s discretion), reverse, stop and back. Western attire and tack required. Extended rules available at registration. Horse rider combination cannot cross enter in any judged walk trot class including Open Ranch Horse Walk Trot.
   
Gate Donations: Adults $2
Members, adults 60 & over FREE.
Children 12 & under FREE.
Members and Sponsors must show cards

Entry Fee - $8 Single Class
$20 Entire show (3 or more classes)

Registration begins at 8am ends at 1pm.
No class changes after 1pm.

NEGATIVE COGGINS REQUIRED ON ALL EQUINE. MUST HAVE PAPERS AT GATE

JCTR follows all breeds nationally recognized rules and regulations

Management will complete documents for PAC competitors if requested.
 
 
  SHOW RULES

1) No riding stallions by youth exhibitors on grounds during show.

2) Ponies 56” & under, measurement must be taken and entered on file prior to showing.

3) No entering the ring at a run for any class.

 4) Disqualification: Hitting in front of the saddle.

 5) 5-second penalty for each barrel downed, 2-second penalty for knocking down each pole.

 6) All dogs must be on a leash at all times.

 7) All tack changes must be requested one class prior to the class. 3-minutes are allowed and then the class gates will be closed and no additional entries will be allowed.

 8) Judge’s decisions are final.

 9) High point winner must show more than one-half of shows to be eligible. No nomination necessary.

 


  10) Abusive behavior in or out of the show ring will not be tolerated.

11) No alcoholic beverages permitted on show grounds.

12) Proper attire and boots required for all classes. No shorts or tennis shoes.

13) Full Rules and Regulations are posted at Registration

14) Horse/Rider must be registered for class at least two classes prior. No class changes after 1pm.

15) No cross entering in any halter class, with exception of Weanling/Yearling Halter.

16) Must be ready at gate when class is called. Some Classes may be preloaded.

17) Helmets encouraged but not required.

18) If a handler is used to assist by holding or leading the horse during the flag races, rider will not be eligible for a placing. A spotter is allowed in the arena but they are not allowed to hold the horse to aid in the sticking or picking up the flag.
