Negative Coggins required at entrance of show ground. - Circle H Saddle Club is not responsible for accidents or injuries to horses, exhibitors, vehicles or attendees -

Do not trot or lope horses through alleyways or trailers.  When not walking, use exercise ring, or back pasture.  No exhibitor may ride more than three horses in any one class.

  5. Open Gaited Halter (Tennessee Walker / Foxtrotter type)
  6. Model Halter (Arab / Morgan / Saddlebred types; gaited excluded)
  7. Open Showmanship
  8. Bareback Pleasure (Any breed / all ages)
  9. Lead Line (Horse or Pony; walk and trot; 6 years and under; rider cannot show in pleasure classes)
  10. Junior Egg and Spoon (18 years and under; must canter)
  11. Open English Pleasure (Any breed; all ages; walk, trot/gait, canter)
  12. Pee-Wee Pole Bending (Horse or Pony; 10 years and under; helmet required)
  13. Junior Pole Bending (Horse or Pony; 11 thru 15 years)
  14. Senior Pole Bending (16 years and older)
  15. Junior Western Pleasure (55” and over; 15 years and under)
  16. Junior Walk-Trot (Horse or Pony; 12 years and under; gaited excluded; riders cannot ride in class 8, 11, 15,18, 22, 23, 25 and 29)
  17. Senior Country Pleasure (16 years and over; walk and favorite gait; western tack and attire; light shod shoes only)
  1. Pony Pleasure (55” and under; 13 years and under; rider cannot show Lead Line or Walk-Trot)
  2. Pee-Wee Barrels (Horse or Pony; 10 years and under; helmet required)
  3. Junior Barrels (Horse or Pony; 11 thru 15 years)
  4. Senior Barrels (16 years and older)
  5. Non-Stock Open Pleasure (55” and over; Arab / Morgan / Saddlebred types; gaited excluded)
  6. Stock Type Open Western Pleasure (Men and Women; all ages; 55” and over)
  7. Junior Country Pleasure (15 years and under; walk and favorite gait; open tack and attire; no pads)
  8. Senior Horse (Stock-Type Horses 6 years and older)
  9. Junior Flag (15 years and under)
  10. Senior Flag (16 years and over)
  11. Adult Walk-Trot (13 years and over; gaited excluded; rider and horse team to walk-trot – see rules; riders cannot ride in class 8, 11, 22, 23, 25, 29 and 31)
  12. Junior Horse (Stock-Type Horses 5 years and younger)
  13. Open Gaited (All ages; any gaited breed; open tack and attire; walk and favorite gait; no pads)
  14. Adult Stock-Type Western Pleasure (16 years and over; 55” and over)
  15. Junior Plug Race (15 years and under)
  16. Senior Plug Race (16 years and over)

 

·          Concession on grounds.

·          SHOW GROUNDS LOCATION:

South of Highway I-55 on Highway in Festus.

Exit I-55 at 170 mile marker and go south on 61 to Highway AA.  Turn right on AA and immediately make a left behind Methodist Church and make right into show grounds.

·          Listen to KJCF AM 1400 for rain cancellations.

·          Rules are posted at entry booth.

·          Must show 4 of 6 point shows to be eligible for high point award.

·          Exhibitors under 18 years must have a parent or responsible party sign for them.

·          Suitable attire required in all classes

·          Hats required in all classes but speed.

·          Helmet required on all Pee-Wee classes

·          Hitting a horse in front of saddle is a disqualification.

·          Palming a barrel is a disqualification.

·          Knocking down a barrel is a 5 second penalty.

·          Boots with defined heels are required for all riding classes.

·          Gaited Horses - No pads or artificial appliances hoof to shoe, open frog, legal plantation shoes.
